Martin Raxton had always been interested in politics. He became involved with political action through technology, using his skills to help underserved communities gain access to the same resources as those who are more fortunate. He believes that technology was the great equalizer, and he is determined to use it to help sustain our communities. He partnered with corporations in the technology industry to provide free wifi access, computer labs in schools, and laptops for all students. He also helped to get legislation passed that would ensure that all students received certification in computer science and information technology. Martin knew that it was important for people to be able to understand the language of politics if they wanted to make a difference in their communities. So he started dinner room conversations in homes across the country, teaching families about the importance of voting and holding politicians accountable. He knew that if everyone worked together, they could make a real difference in their schools and their local communities.
