Alias Bill Hawks
(1963) - 48 min
Action, Adventure, Western
After receiving a note asking for his help, Bill Hawks travels to a desert town to visit an old friend who has a ranch there, an Indian friend he fought with while in the Civil War. However, upon arriving at the small town he finds it deserted except for one young woman. She tells Bill everyone is at his friend's property working there. On his friend's property, he discovers that it is under the control of the local townspeople, who are drilling for water, and that his friend is nowhere to be seen. The townspeople are unwilling to give him any information, and in fact display outright hostility to him by dumping him into the mud, leading Hawks to suspect that his friend may be in danger or even death. Slowly, the girl opens up to Bill about what happened.
